Een 50-jarige vrouw uit IJsselstein werd zondagavond 20 november slachtoffer van een straatroof die plaatsvond op de Pollux. De politie is op zoek naar getuigen.
De vrouw kwam rond 21.50 uur met de tram vanuit Nieuwegein en stapte uit bij het winkelcentrum aan De Clinckhoeff. Tijdens het uitstappen zag zij daar een groep jongens staan, die ze passeerde. Toen ze in de richting van haar portiek liep werd ze gevolgd door één van de jongens uit de groep. Het slachtoffer werd vervolgens door hem tegen de grond geduwd waarna hij haar tas van haar schouder trok. De dader rende vervolgens met de buit weg in de richting van de Saturnus.
